Entropy Data Named a Representative Vendor in the Gartner® Market Overview for Data Marketplace Solutions
By 2030, data marketplace solutions will be implemented primarily for agentic AI consumption.
That is a Strategic Planning Assumption from the new Gartner® Market Overview for Data Marketplace Solutions, published 20 August 2026. It is exactly the shift we have been building toward.
Entropy Data has been named a Representative Vendor in that research, in the Stand-Alone Data Marketplace Vendors category. It is our first appearance in Gartner research.
In our view, it reflects the bet we made early: data products and machine-readable data contracts as the foundation, so that both people and AI agents can find, understand and access the data they are permitted to use, with governance built in rather than bolted on afterwards.
